Montaña de Oro

Last weekend, we took a dirt spin on just about every last trail in Montaña de Oro State Park. We parked at the base of Hazard Peak Trail and headed up to Manzanita, East Boundary, Baranca, and back down Hazard Peak. Thanks to the Carrot Fest team of cyclists, equestrians, and hikers for their recent trail work, especially the brushing.

After we ride MdO, some of our favorite post-ride options that hit the spot: Morro Bay’s Taco Temple or BBQ oysters and a Firestone DBA at Tognazzini’s Dockside, a homemade beer with the Mad Brewer, or a salad from our garden at home. Have a plan to get food after your ride: don’t bonk!
